Journey of the OJT: Day 4

It been a long day without update on my blog. We were busy finishing up the books that are needed to be encoded in the Microsoft excel. Suddenly, we realized that we are also task to create a system for eBooks of the library. So, we decided to ask ma'am Gene for the sample data that we will be using in our system. However, she was not around in the office. we were told to wait for a while because she went outside to do some business. after some time, we manage to have an opportunity to have a discussion with ma'am Gene and ma'am Helen about the task assign to us. we have presented our ideas and they also have suggestions. they are looking forward n using our system for it will help them a lot.

On the afternoon, the sample data is ready, and so we ask for it to take a look and discover some key points that we may be using in our system. then as my OJT partners do the encoding of books, I started making the foundation of the system. Our task is to allow the user views the available eBooks as well as they can also view the content of the book.

After an hour or more, I was done with the foundation. I was eager to finish the system as fast as I can. Knowing that after quite some time, we will be assign to different area in the library. And so, I ask my OJT partners to do some collaboration and brainstorming about the possible outcome of the system. I distributed task to everyone to finish. In the end, since the system is not a priority, we all agreed to finish first the encoding while I am still doing the system.
