Journey of the OJT: Day 2
On the second day of my OJT, I had the incredible opportunity to meet the University President. Although I didn't get the chance to talk with him, it was a very humbling experience to see him in person and to greet him with a smile and a bow.
I was very excited to meet the President, as it was the first time, I had ever been in the same room with a high-ranking university official. I was also a bit nervous, knowing that he was the person in charge of the university and that this meeting was of utmost importance.
However, the President was very busy and didn't have time to talk with us. We had to content ourselves with merely observing him from a distance. Although we didn't get to interact with him directly, we still felt a sense of accomplishment from being in the same room with him.
Seeing the President in person made me appreciate the university even more. It was a reminder of the importance of the institution and the hard work the staff, teachers, and students put in to make it the best it can be. It also made me realize that even though I am a student, I am still part of the university and have a responsibility to make it the best it can be.
The experience of meeting the University President was an unforgettable one, and even though we didn't get to talk to him, I still felt a sense of pride and accomplishment.
