Journey of the OJT : Day 1

On the first day of our OJT program, we have met our supervisor to go over the expectations and guidelines of the program. Our supervisor, Ma'am Gene Altavano, explained the importance of the OJT students(us) following the rules and regulations of the program, and how it would help us succeed. She also discussed the number of hours we must complete, and any special tasks that may be required. We were asked to provide feedback and ask any questions we may have. Ma'am Gene was eager to answer all of their questions and set clear expectations for the program. The meeting was a great opportunity for us to get to know our supervisor and start the program off on the right foot.

After gathering with our supervisor, we commenced with the tasks that had been given to us, which was encoding. We, being the OJT, saw this as an opportunity to increase our aptitude. We were informed that not only would we be able to develop our encoding capabilities, but also our ability to organize, which may be useful for us in the future. As we took on this responsibility, I distinctly saw that organizing can make the task a lot easier.

We talk our First Photo while we are working.
