Practicum for Information System (OJT)

The past few days of my journey as an On - the - Job Train ee ( O J T ) have been quite event ful . I have been working diligently on building the foundation of the second template on university library system . This week , I have been going over the basic requirements and ensuring that everything is in place for the project . I have also been making sure that I am knowledgeable in all areas and that the design is as expected . Additionally , I have been working on posting my blog for the past few days . Today marks day 25 of my journey as an On - the - Job Train ee for the University Library System website . I am pleased to report that I have successfully completed the implementation of the first website template . This template included a homepage , a contact page , and a search page , all of which are now live on the website . The next step in my journey is the implementation of the new template which will feature a modern design and enhanced user experience . I have already begun to make preparations for this project , which includes researching new design features and developing a plan of action . I am looking forward to the challenge of putting together a website that is both visually appealing and easy to use . Today marked Day 24 of my O J T journey here at the university library system . It has been a challenging journey for sure , but I 'm still making progress on the website foundation . So far I have been able to build the basic layout of the website and have also begun to work on the navigation structure . I am really starting to get a better handle on the project as a whole and am feeling comfortable with the progress that I have made . The past few days have been focused on the backend development of the website . Specifically , I have been working on the database setup and making sure that the queries are running properly . I am also working on setting up the API connections and ensuring that the data is securely stored . I am really learning a lot about web development and am feeling more confident in my ability to build a website
